Project Overview
Design and construction of a 3,500m² flagship retail store, including associated roadworks, drainage, utilities, and a 180-space car park with a dedicated loading dock. The project also involved live road and services realignment along Ballinderry Road and upgrades to existing boundary treatments.
The retail unit features a steel portal frame with insulated cladding, complemented by brickwork, large glazed facades, and fire-rated shutters. Extensive coordination ensured efficient delivery of the superstructure.
External works included full site infrastructure such as drainage systems, attenuation and interceptor tanks, permeable paving, lighting, and signage. The loading dock required specialist groundworks due to challenging soil conditions.
Mechanical and electrical installations comprised air source heat pumps, air handling systems, CCTV, advanced fire safety systems, and a fully automated building management system (BMS).
The project was delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget to a high standard.
