Carechoice Nursing Home, Marley

Ganson Building & Civil Engineering Ltd. delivered a new three-storey extension and the refurbishment, restoration, and modernisation of the existing wing at the live, operational, and protected Marlay Nursing Home.

The project upgraded energy efficiency to an A2 BER rating, improved fire safety, and restored original joinery, ornamental features, and plasterwork. Key works included demolition, asbestos removal, new partitions, floors, ceilings, tiling, carpets, painting, decoration, and full M&E installation, tested and commissioned throughout.

All works were carried out to high standards of safety, quality, and sustainability, with weekly HSEQ audits and timely resolution of non-conformances. The project was completed on time, within budget, and to a very high standard of finish.
