Project Overview
The project at St. Joseph’s Mercy Primary School comprises a significant extension and refurbishment of the existing school campus, delivering upgraded teaching facilities within a live operational environment.
The works include the demolition of an existing two-storey toilet block, GP hall annex, and associated structures, alongside the removal of prefabricated accommodation. A new 8-classroom extension with ancillary teaching and support spaces will be constructed, while the existing school building will undergo a comprehensive refurbishment to provide 10 upgraded classrooms and modernised facilities throughout.
The development also incorporates associated site works, including landscaping and external improvements, enhancing the overall school environment. The project is carefully phased to ensure the school remains fully operational during construction, requiring detailed coordination and management within a live educational setting.
