Project Overview
Construction of a new three-storey post-primary school for 1,000 pupils and a two-storey primary school for 750 pupils with a Special Needs Unit, GP hall, and ancillary facilities including offices, kitchen, canteen, physio, and conference spaces.
The development included new access roads, parking, drop-off areas, combined foot and cycle paths, drainage and utilities, and comprehensive landscaping with sports pitches, play areas, and secure boundary treatments.
Buildings feature structural steel and precast concrete frames, with exteriors of facing brick, coloured render, and extensive solar-responsive glazing. Sustainable features include heat recovery ventilation and energy-efficient systems, fully tested and commissioned prior to handover.
Delivered in a busy urban setting with minimal disruption to surrounding schools and residential areas, the project achieved high standards of quality, safety, and environmental performance, supported by weekly HSEQ audits and daily toolbox talks.
