Project Overview
Demolition and site clearance were followed by the construction of a new 32-classroom school for pupils with special needs, including administration spaces, gymnasium, ball courts, play areas, and a single-storey green roof.
The project included new site access from a busy roundabout, parking and circulation areas, drainage, utilities, and a new ESB substation with switch room. The building was constructed using a precast modular system with brick, blockwork, coloured render, and energy-efficient glazing.
A full mechanical and electrical package with modern BMS, intelligent lighting, water harvesting, and solar-responsive elements was installed, alongside high-quality internal finishes. All works were safely delivered in a live operational environment, with O&M and safety documentation handed over upon completion.
